To all officials Registered and Confirmed for the Level 1 or 2  Referee Seminar on
September 13, 2008 at Ice Haus, in Greeley. 

 

Get there by 7:30 AM so that you can get checked in and pay your fees.

We will be seated and teaching starting at 8:00 AM.  If you change your mind about attending this seminar, please have the courtesy to email registrar@ncihra.org so that the reserved spot can be given to someone else.

You must be there the full day to get credit for the seminar.   We will check-in and out (at the end of the day). Make sure you sign out before leaving at the end of the seminar (this is very important). We will end at 5:00 pm.

 

We will collect Seminar and Local Association fees at the sign-in.

Level 1 fees are $ 25.00 per person.     Level 2 fees are $30.00 per person.    Out of town folks $10.00 just for seminar.

 

 
Bring lunch, snacks and drinks, enough to get you thru the day.  Or have someone bring you lunch, or be prepared to eat whatever the rink has or is available by driving somewhere nearby. (Lunch is scheduled from Noon - 12:45).
 
Have equipment for the on-ice session (1:45- 3:45 PM); also a snack or drink for after.

·         Hockey skates

·         Black pants

·         Black Helmet with no more than a 1/2 shield (you need to be able to blow your whistle - if you need to remove your full cage or shield, do so at home before coming to the seminar)

·         Referee Finger Whistle

·         other Referee uniform if you have it. Note that Level 2 participants are expected to be in full referee uniform on the ice.

·         A cup, shin guards, elbow pads

·         Be prepared to be on the ice for this length of time (wear more than a tee shirt). New Level 1 participants do not need to have the referee pants and sweater. Sweat pant, nylon pants, etc is okay. Equipment options are discussed during the seminar.
