When you apply for a game, indicate to a scheduler that you are available and want to work a game, you are at that time responsible for checking the web site. This includes checking the web for all of the rink schedules. You must also Re-Check the web site to confirm the games you have and the Start Times. (That includes late Friday and/or early Saturday morning). Yes, every weekend.

If You have a schedule conflict or need to give up a game: If in advance you should contact the respective scheduler. They probably know other officials that asked for and wanted that game you are trying to give up. If it is last minute then You need to find someone qualified to cover the game. You then also need to notify the Scheduler of that change.

If you do not show up for an assigned game, then you are Fined the Full Fee for that Game. If you are Late then you are Fined a proportion of the Game Fee. Please have some courtesy and call your other game officials, or scorekeeper and give them a heads-up if you get stuck and will be late. If you need to, call the scheduler or supervisor and they can help you with phone numbers. You should be prepared and have your partners phone numbers with you. You are expected to be in the Officials Locker Room 30 Minutes Before the posted game time.
